I’d like to give you a great tip on how to drastically reduce some of your menopause symptoms with the simple act of consuming a small amount of Apple Cider Vinegar every day!
Apple cider vinegar has so many health benefits it’s a natural antioxidant and its packed full of enzymes and friendly bacteria, so it boosts your immune system and flushes out your body’s toxins and helps support your digestive system. It has been found has been found to help reduce bloating as well as aid weight loss.
It contains magnesium, a mineral that important in maintaining bone mass (therefore preventing osteoporosis), but also supports nerve function whilst lowering depression and mood swings!
It also alkalinises the body, so it can help with hot flushes, headaches and even night sweats.
If that’s not enough it can also help reduce sugar cravings by controlling blood sugar levels, which will mean you are less likely to crave sweet things!
So how much should you consume, and when?
There is no right amount or time to take it, but it’s generally recommended to take 2 tablespoons a day. You can mix it with water, I like to take mine first thing in the morning in a pint of warm water to which I add the juice of half a fresh lemon (another great way to alkalise the body) This will also hydrate you upon waking and help to flush any toxins which have built up over night.
